I need to write, this is why I write

I need to write, this is why I write

I inhale words and exhale promises to paper
I breathe through the lungs of poems while the ancestral bones
Keep my spirits upright
With words to connect to life

My truths spills from culturally swollen wombs adding dimension
So that the universe can rest on a sentence

I place past experiences on narrow blue line 8 ½ by 11 of former trees
My modern day tablet is corporately sponsored by mead

With a pen impregnated with ink as my staff
As I walk less traveled paths
Pausing briefly to add life to paragraphs

There it rest
God has stated that I am truly blessed
When I write I stay motivated
Every time I write a piece so you can digest the best

My insight ingest the future seeds of what I write
I am glad the Lord gave me the a third eye sight
This is why I live to write.
