Big Daddy Kane and L.L. Cool J.

Tonight is the VH1 honors. Hosted by one of my idols, Rev Run of Run DMC and Jam Master Jay fame. Ive been waiting for this for a couple of months. When I herd that Big Daddy Kane and L.L. Cool Jay was being honored I was excited to know that these two legends will finally get their due. All the new school artist should watch and learn what a MC is all about. Now we have rappers and they need to have so many people on their albums just so they can have a hit. These two Masters of Ceremonies never needed other people or slick production to stand out. They carved a niche and stuck with a formula that worked and still is evident today. Big ups to those two and Melle Mel also. The ladies loved Cool J. But the fellas respected his brash style and forwardness. He battled anyone and always came out on top. The ladies loved the Prince of Darknes aka Black-a-nova, but the fellas respect The B.i.g. D.a. double D. K.a.n.e.. By the time he was through you will give him more props than a motown review.
