Just a thought or two

Ok here we go again. This time the verdict of innocents wasn’t as dramatic as the O.J. Simpson trial back in 1995. But none the less M.J. AKA Michael Jackson is still a black man in America; at least on the inside. Now in 2005 a celebrity was face with life in prison for a horrible crime. He abused a child and in my book if one of my two children was abuse, like Bernie Mac said, "there’s going to be furniture moving."
There are many poll questions out right now two days removed from the trial of the millennium excluding Scott Peterson murder. Many people stated they still see Michael as a pedophile in their eyes. That may be true but I would like to go deeper if you allow me the time to speak on it. I promise I will be brief in my statement.
There are many Catholic priests participating in child pornography and abusing children. What about those men of God, doing that? Isn’t that wrong in the eyes of the public? Maybe not because the Catholic religion is so huge they tend to look the other way. It’s a money thing and a slap on the wrist to those who do that. Allow those men to get their freak on so the kids under their guidance won’t suffer now and later on in life. I don’t trust them and society only graze the surface when it comes to those priests doing that. However when Kobe committed adultery it was broadcast night and day, however I do understand this is how it is.
How about the lynching’s that took place against black people and on the day of the verdict, we finally get an apology for that. What took yall so fucking long? Billie Holiday called it strange fruit in her song. Where’s the justice for that?
Of course I could go on but I would be rambling like I am doing now. But in America when the jury says you are innocent, maybe you are not in a lot of people eyes. Who knows what went on at Neverland? Who knows if Michael will ever change from letting kids sleep in his bed? All I can say is if he makes the same mistake again, then he is not the genius we all thought him to be, but the fool we never thought he was.
So who is up next? I think it’s R. Kelly and he might be the genius who is the fool still recording sex songs which I do think is creative and like. It’s all drama but I am not the one whose life hangs in the balance of the court system. R. Kelly, you need to hire that man who got Michael Jackson off, or the women who represented Kobe.
Peace
