GUESS WHO IS BACK

She’s back with a new album, "The Breakthrough," and YOUnity Reviewers have given the R& B top rated vocalist rave reviews. AOL hosted a live listening party and the word has it the writing on this album is by far Mary J. Blige’s best. She’s landed herself a spot on Carson Daily’s New Year’s Show on Dec. 31.st. We’ve witnessed Mary’s rise to meteoric fame and fortune through triumph and obstacles she isn’t afraid to share from her tumultuous break up with K Ci, former Jodeci’s lead vocalist.

Since then, she’s found love and romance in her life, is a trendsetter for fashion, hair, make up and while she honored Mariah Carey for the Bill Board Awards, folks are saying, Mariah Carey should have been honoring her. No one has been able to maintain the kind of longevity Mary J. Blige has maintained in her genre of music and with the same popularity as when she began with Sean P. Diddy, but we can track her roots back to a cut with Father MC when the rugged, Yonkers, "Lady of Soul" with a clear slash under her eye would make appearances with Timber style boots.

It was her raspy, emotional- filled vocals that caught the attention of music lovers. She had the kind of attitude that reflected today’s Black woman at best before being accepted on the mainstream by Caucasian , Latino, Asian and Japanese music lovers. A role model and trendsetter who decided to take on a fitness routine generated by Mark Jenkins, celebrity trainer has paid off. Mark Jenkins shared how cooperative Mary J. Blige was even after she fired another trainer. Mary didn’t hold back, hasn’t held back and is giving the world her absolute best as the young "Aretha Soul" of our generation.

When you obtain the album, you are going to be blown away by the piano accompaniment of the single, "Be Without You!" This track is intoxicating soul for music lovers. Mary J. Blige was discovered while singing in a shopping mall and an Uptown Records label exec signed her. Her most popular tracks are "Real Love" and "You Remind Me," a track that accompanied the sound track of the movie, " Strictly Business" that put Halle Berry on the map as a universal sex symbol, but Mary J. Blige was also revered as a trendsetter of her era who exemplified the beauty of full figured black woman. Mary J. Blige has significantly slimmed down after many commercial appearances with rappers like Li’l Kim that require superfluous and optimal fitness. However, regardless, folks are more interested in Mary J. Blige’s latest album expected to climb the charts rapidly this holiday season. Her album is currently in stores nationwide. The cover jacket of her CD is by far one of the best CD cover jackets of the year. Check it out and visit her site at www.mjblige.com .
