I witness it again
I witness it again!
It’s said that we all have at least seven people on this planet or who has left this planet that look like us in some way. I meet and seen many people but I have yet to run across my twin or anyone slightly resembling me. I have heard people say that I “look like this person I know.” That’s very common in these days and times. I know I have pointed or gazed at someone who resembles a star or a common folk. I can say that I have been fortunate in this lifetime to have witness two women who were dead ringers for my wife. I believe they weren’t related, however the characteristics are striking.
Back in 2001 when I was working at a government facility I ran across a young woman who was the dead ringer of my wife. Her youthful mocha face and round head was like looking in a mirror. She sported corn-rolls and her walk was similar to my wife’s walk. Tomboyish in nature, however the innocents of her was the most appealing attribute. I showed her and some of her friends a picture of my wife and the response was a big gasp. Mouth’s gaped open and eyes were popping out and the words, “oh snapped followed is amazement. She was the same height and build with flawless beauty just like my wife. I was transfixed on this young lady named Rachelle Bonds whose birthday was to the day of my wife’s birthday, only a year younger. Now that’s spooky!
Fast forward to 2006 and it has happen again. I meet this young lady whose name I will keep to my self is a dead ringer. She’s a little taller and heavier yet sill graceful and beautiful and looks like her as well. Everyday I shake my head because she looks my like her than the first young lady I spoke about. I showed her a picture and she agreed that they could be sisters. My wife and this young lady sport the similar hairstyle, smile and demenour. They even have the same profile with tiny hoop earrings that dangle from the perfectly formed ears. She stared at the picture and walked away smiling shaking her head. I showed a few other people and they agreed as well. Here’s where it gets spooky, her son was born a year later I believe on the same day our son was born. September 24th. Unbelievable. I am still looking for my distant brother, since I was not blessed to have any siblings. Maybe God has planted these two women there to watch over me to make sure I don’t flirt or try something crazy. As funny as it may seem, I am witness and my eyes do not lie. These two women confirmed and were amazed at what they saw. I guess you can say I am blessed to have witnessed this. My wife always say that I am saying someone looks like someone, but this time I have proof to back it up.
So be on the look out, your twin may past you by one day and you may not even know it. I am still looking for mines. If anybody out there, who knows me and saw someone who resembles me, let me know. I am sure when God made me he didn’t break the mode.
