Love Part I: What would you do? The challenge
Love Part I
How far would you go to prove your love for someone? That’s seems like a touchy subject for a simple answer to follow. Yet, it may have crossed your mind at least once, maybe twice. People claim that love is complicated but we are all a victim of it and its circumstances. Love is herd on the radio, T.V., and advertising ads. People are doing the unthinkable for the person they love. Now let me make this clear, I am not talking about the love a person has for a child, friend or family member. I am referring to a deep passionate love of wanting to go to the ledge and look down at a fantasy you may have been wanting for you at the bottom. Couples are indulging in letting other folks in the bedroom for the sake of keeping spice in their life. Why? Maybe I should ask Oprah to probe deeper, who knows she maybe doing it. If she’s talking about it and we do listen to what she says, then this subject is not something I am making up. I pose a question to all that read this. What would you do for your love one and how far would you really go? I am taking a poll and issuing a challenge to all who are daring enough to want to say what they would do for a love one if asked. It’s that simple. I know I would be willing to do the impossible. Then and only then may my love be in question, but relationships are about sacrifices right? Sure they are. I herd a conversation as I stood looking at magazines in Borders the other day. There were four free spirits who were young claiming they would do this or that for their significant other. That prompted me to write this. So if you are out there and not a person to shy away from an adult challenge, I dare you to say. It sounds silly and I don’t really expect anyone to say anything, because it’s private. However love does make you do crazy things, so maybe this challenge would make you brave and let us all into your world. There is a old school jam sung by Bobby Caldwell entitled “Do for love.” That’s one of my favorite jams from back in the day. Of course many have sung about love, but I urge you to check out some love songs written and sung by Saleena Johnson on her latest CD. I am not going to tell you the track, however it has the rapper Twista on it who does a brilliant job! Listen to that sister blow and you will instantly know what she would do for love. Stay tuned for part two of this…
