I understand your personal war
(A Spoken Word shout out for a diabetic)
Part of me was never the same until I figured out how to really love you. Wars going on inside your body with high sugar for illnesses that can’t be cure because of genetics, still I string along strong, remembering our song. Can-you-stand-the rain? I thought nothing was as permanent and deep as an iron crease or a sewn in pleat in a piece of fabric. However the fabric of your unique soul’s agility and compasity to show hidden strength even when heavens winds, weren’t blowing your way. My faults and insecurities, surrounded you, still you stayed even though I had tempers and flair ups but I am proud to say I never strayed.
Nothing is never all about self, with out the true given of one self to gain personal wealth of Gods favor and grace. You’re alive but you body expresses other feeling that lie to you and drive you to think that your time maybe short. A child of God is what you told me and you said the devil is a liar as those dimples protruded inward and shine outward to a world who don’t know your personal pains and pleasures, stormy weathers and streaks of questions of why is this happening to me? So I understand your personal war and if I was keeping score I was tell you that you are ahead of the game. For now you will remain nameless because the cause has an effect, and with this battle keep God close to your heart because its not over yet. Don’t let that insulin BE the end of your joy and happiness, because those facts don’t determine how you should act, like I said keep HIM first because him and I have you’re back with all types of ammunition calculated with precision, decision, inventing a spiritual way to get you through life’s days of struggles and tug of wars. This Goes out to you especially and anyone else dealing with this sweet sore.
