I was self centered

Selfishness and self-centerness is our biggest problem as humans. It’s a battle we have to fight everyday. "It’s all about me, all about me," we say. We all read the scripture, "take up your cross and follow me."
But to fully understand that you would have to read what it says in the amplified bible.
"And Jesus called his deciples to him along with others and he said, if anyone tend to come after me or to follow me. Let him deny himself. Forget ignore, disown and loose sight of himself, all of his own interest."
That doesn’t mean you can not be interested in anything else. It means to put other people first.
This past weekend I wasn’t doing that. I lost sight of what it means to provide other people of my self instead of looking in the mirror asking, "why not me." I learned and you should learn to put other peoples need before your self. No we are not going to like it. We have to sacrifice our selves sometimes for the greater good. This weekend I almost feel into those traps of ‘what about me.’ I wanted to seek what I wasn’t getting at home and believed in my heart that I was valid to do so. It never came to past, by the grace of God and strong will power. I am what you call a work in progress. A different chapter is written everyday and my story is one that should behold. Stay tuned for the rest of my life!

Sometimes it's all about perspective... the things we choose to say or do or act upon... the things we choose to either feel guilty about or write off as a consequence of being human.

You can be unselfish, you can put others needs before your own, but when you're constantly ignoring your own needs is when it starts to build and lead to things that bring you right back where you started, contemplating, considering then ultimately feeling guilty and torn...

Just my two cents.. that and fifty-one more might get you a cheap cup of coffee...
